You can view POCKET ACADEMY without the separate disclosure of personal data. However, some data will be required in any form of utilization.

The following applies regarding such data:

3.4.1. If our website is visited by registered users or internet users not registered, we save particular data in log files.

Such as:

  • Domain over which the registration was made,

  • Date and time of registration,

  • Date and time of log-ins.

A log file contains the IP address, the beginning and the end of the use of our sites, the transmitted amount of data and the sub-pages that were accessed on our website. We collect the log files and store for security reasons, in order to understand cases of abuse of our services. In particular, we save in this context your IP address, when you place a comment in our service area or comment an article.
Through the log files we get more information about how our service is used. For example, which pages are most popular, at which times the use of our services is particularly intense, and how customers navigate through the APP.  The results show in statistical form and are anonymous. We use the results to optimize our range both technically and editorially. This means, for example, that we do not know which user behavior you prefer, but only that there is a user who has such a behaviour. We have no handle and no interest to identify you based on an IP address as an individual.

3.4.2. Date and time of profiling, as well as the date and time of the most recent log-ins are stored, for eg. to account for inactive profiles.

3.4.3.  As part of our websites, we also use cookies. Through our cookies we pass the log-in data, information about your browser type and version, the date and time of the visit with us and cookie number. This use of cookies during the registration process as well as in the further course of our range allows us to recognize you when you revisit our website again.

A cookie is a text file that is copied from a web server onto your hard drive. Cookies can not run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to the user. A primary purpose of a cookie is to tell a web server that you returned to a specific page. If you want to disable cookies on your device, use the help function of your browser, or contact the manufacturer.
At any given time you can object to the data collection, storage and use.

3.5. Content data

After activation of your user account, you have the opportunity to actively write articles within our service or to make comments. In addition, you can optionally add more details about yourself to your user profile. The information given by you through which one can identify your identiy, your interests, opinions et cetera, are personal data that we need to save in order so that you can retrieve the information in the internet, as desired by you. Without your consent, we will not use your comments and user profile additions otherwise in any way. However, we reserve the right to point out particularly successful or interesting articles of our users in the editorial area of our website and / or cite such contributions.
Whether you post articles or add additional information to your user profile, is your decision. But you should only do so after you have considered the implications of the internet's visibility and in particular have made conscious use of the possible settings of your user profile.

4.1. Disclosure

We provide information about you only to third parties:
if this is necessary for the implementation of the existing contractual relationship with you or to enforce our rights and claims;

4.2. Public visibility

Your posts and comments will be made public on Pocket Academy and in this sense passed on - that is the goal of the community and possibility for comments. What you post and how you do it, is of course only your decision. However, since in each case at least the contribution itself including your user name will be visible on the internet, we recommend you consider when choosing a user name, if you want to be identified or not. Please avoid any content in your posts that you do not want to make public.
As a precautionary measure it is part of our Terms of Use out that we reserve the right to set up our API for developers in a way that they can access your community contributions (obviously not your user profile) via the API and can possibly embed those in their internet services.

If you use plug-ins actively (eg. press the Like button), this information will be transferred from your browser directly to Facebook, while we cannot control this.
More detailed information about the nature, purpose and scope as well as the further processing and use of your data by Facebook, please refer to the privacy policies at Facebook (see above). There you will also learn more about your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy.

Your +1 can be shown along with your name and profile photo in Google services, such as in search results or in your Google profile, or elsewhere on websites and ads on the internet.
